An online workshop to help students make informed, confident choices after school – whether that’s university, apprenticeships, gap years or other routes. Includes hands-on exploration of UCAS tools, Uni Guide, and labour market information.

“Speak to a Student” Subject Series
Informal talks and Q&As with student mentors studying a wide range of university courses – from Law and Medicine to Performing Arts, Engineering, and Education. Students can hear real stories, ask questions, and get a better feel for what studying a subject is really like.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Gatsby Benchmarks are eight guidelines for excellent careers education – covering areas such as curriculum links to careers, encounters with employers, and personal guidance. Our workshops are built to align with these standards.
Each workshop includes interactive activities, student-led presentations, a Q&A, and take-away resources – all materials are provided and content can be adapted to your curriculum needs and student group.
Standard sessions are £150-300 depending on length and complexity, with free or discounted rates available for schools serving high proportions of Pupil Premium, FSM, or POLAR4 Q1/Q2 students, and those in Priority Education Investment Areas. We are also happy to discuss flexible pricing.
We primarily deliver online to reach schools across the country, but in-person delivery may be possible depending on your location – just let us know your preference when you get in touch.
Most workshops fit a standard lesson period (45-60 minutes), though we can adapt timing to your timetable – some sessions, like Personal Statement Clinics, work better as extended or multi-period slots.
We primarily work with Years 9-13 (ages 14-18), focused on post-16 and post-18 transitions, though content can be adapted for younger students in aspirational or early careers programmes.
Workshops are delivered by current university students and recent graduates trained in educational delivery, all with strong academic records, subject expertise, and enhanced DBS checks. Sessions are overseen by qualified teachers.

We provide follow-up resources and session summaries, and can arrange additional support where needed – including referral to our tutoring programmes or subsidised lessons through our Community Education Fund for students who need ongoing help.
