Staying on top of your child’s lesson schedule is straightforward with NSEMM Learn. Here’s everything you need to know about managing bookings.
Viewing Upcoming Lessons
Your dashboard shows all upcoming lessons at a glance. Each lesson displays the date, time, subject, and tutor name. Click on any lesson to see more details, including the joining link for online sessions.
You can also view lessons in a calendar format by going to the Lessons section and clicking the calendar icon. This helps you see how lessons fit with other commitments.
Booking New Lessons
To book a new lesson, click “Book Lesson” on your dashboard or in the Lessons section. You’ll be guided through selecting:
- Subject – What your child wants to learn
- Tutor – Choose a specific tutor or let us match you
- Date and Time – Pick from available slots
Once you confirm, the lesson is booked immediately and appears on your dashboard. You’ll receive a confirmation email with all the details.
Rescheduling
Sometimes plans change and you need to move a lesson. Find the lesson on your dashboard, click it to view details, and select “Reschedule”. You’ll see alternative times when the tutor is available. Pick a new slot and confirm.
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for rescheduling. Last-minute changes aren’t always possible as tutors plan their time around their bookings.
Cancelling Lessons
If you need to cancel entirely, find the lesson and click “Cancel”. You’ll be asked to confirm. If you cancel more than 24 hours before the lesson, you’ll receive a full refund or credit. Cancellations with less notice may still be charged, as per our cancellation policy.
Regular Scheduling
If your child has lessons at the same time each week, you can set up recurring bookings. Contact support to arrange this, and we’ll block out a regular slot with your preferred tutor.
Calendar Integration
You can sync your NSEMM lessons with your personal calendar (Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook) using the calendar export feature in your account settings. This helps you avoid double-booking and ensures you get reminders from your usual calendar app.
Tutor Availability
Tutors set their own availability, which can change week to week. If you’re trying to book and can’t find suitable times, try looking a bit further ahead, or contact support and we’ll help find a solution.
Multiple Children
If you have more than one child learning with NSEMM, you can manage all their lessons from a single parent account. Each child appears separately on your dashboard, and you can filter to see just one child’s lessons at a time.
